Letter from the Principal

Dear Parents, Students and Others,

As our school's creed suggests, high academic achievement, positive character development, and civility are the foundations of student success.  All of us here at Sheridan Middle School are deeply committed to improving each and every child that enters our building. Academic improvement along with social and emotional growth is paramount in our student's success in both school and in life.  We do indeed strive daily to develop these attributes in each of our students.

I encourage you to come by the school and visit. We are always looking for active, involved parents and community members who are as committed to student and overall school improvement as our staff is. If you are interested in looking at Sheridan Middle School for your child, I certainly encourage you to come by. Please call me to arrange a personal tour of our building, facilities and classes.

I truly believe we have one of the best middle school staffs around.  Whether you are looking for challenging academic programs, competitive boys’ and girls’ athletics, and a wide variety of elective opportunities or just a great medium sized middle school, Sheridan Middle School is the place.
