When we all work together as a team; parents, students, teachers
and bus drivers, we will have the safest transportation.

The safety, and welfare of all our passengers is our priority.

• Professionalism.
• Consistency.
• Fairness.

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Talk with your students about the bus safety rules and the bus rules.
• Let them know that the safety of everyone depends on them following the rules.
• Have your children at the stop at least 5 minutes before stop time.
• Talk to your children about courtesy to other people.

BUS SAFETY RULES

• Cross 10 feet in front of the bus.
• Always watch the driver.
• Do not bend over around the wheels or in front of the bus.
• Walk away from the side of the bus.
• Never go under the bus.
• Never approach a bus until the brake sets.
• Never stand up until you hear the brake set.

BUS RULES

• Follow all directions.
• Stay seated with feet in front of you.
• Exhibit appropriate academic behavior.
• No profanity.
• No food or drink on the bus.
• Be courteous to other people.
• No violence.
• Keep hands / heads, voices, gestures inside the bus.
• Do not destroy property.

CONSEQUENCES

• Warning - (Notify principal and parent).
• Parent conference.
• Suspension of bus privileges.
