Who We Are…

An outstanding smaller middle school with approximately 350 students located in the south-west Denver metropolitan area.
There are 27 teachers and two administrators. We also have two full time counselors and a full time psychologist available to work with students.
Our average class size is less than 25 students.
Our school day begins at 7:50 am
and
ends at 3:00 pm.
We have 7 different elective classes including Band, Choir and Art. Additionally, we have 6 different computer labs and
8 rooms equipped with SMART Boards.
We offer advanced elective classes
at the high school.
Currently we have 20+ students
enrolled in these classes.
We offer English Language Acquisition instruction
for students
with limited English skills.
We have CSAP preparation classes in Reading, Writing and Math
for any student who needs
additional instruction and/or tutoring.
About 64% of the school population is Hispanic,
29% Caucasian and 7% other ethnic groups.
63% of our students receive free or reduced lunch.
We have a 94% attendance rate
We have Honors Math and Language Arts
classes at all grade levels.
We offer a range of extracurricular activities that include Cheerleading, Technology Club, Homework Club, Literacy Clubs, Drama Club
and our Wildcat Roar Student Newsletter.
Our competitive Athletic activities include football,
volleyball,
cross country, girls and boys’ basketball,
wrestling,
girls and boys’ soccer,
baseball and track.
